Iran Press/ Iran News: Gholam-Ali Haddad Adel, in an interview with Iran Press after participating in the elections at the Lorzadeh Mosque, on Friday added that people hope that the next president will be able to reduce their problems.
Referring to the participation of the people in the elections, he stated that the importance of the elections is due to the appointment of the president, who has many facilities and powers, and the people see the effect of government decisions and policies in their lives.
Iran's 2021 presidential elections have started nationwide and also in foreign countries, with nearly 60 million Iranians eligible to vote for one of four candidates running.
Polls opened at 07:00 am local time on Friday, June 18, and will run until 12:00 pm on Saturday, according to the statement by the interior ministry.
City council, midterm parliamentary, and Assembly of Experts elections are underway simultaneously with the presidential vote.
