Iran Press/ Iran news: In an exclusive interview with Iran Press on Friday, the veteran Guardian journalist Patrick Wintour said: "I am here to watch the elections and see what the people are thinking. And obviously elections to the parliament are incredibly important. And I think one of the big issues today is the number of people who turn out to vote, both in Tehran and nationally. It will show the degree of support there is for the government, and also for the different factions within the (Iranian) parliament."
Wintour added: "So it will be really interesting to see the results at the end of the day."
