Culture Minister:

Tehran (IP) - The Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance of the Islamic Republic of Iran emphasized that Cultural relations with Muslim neighboring countries are the priority of the government's plans.

Iran PressIran news: Mohammad Mehdi Esmaili, the Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance, left for Ashgabat in order to participate in Iran's cultural week programs in Turkmenistan.

Iran's cultural week in Turkmenistan will be held from February 12 to 14, 2023 with the joint cooperation of the Islamic Republic of Iran's embassy and Iran's cultural attaché office, and the Ministry of Culture of Turkmenistan.

This cultural event with the presence of the Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance, the Minister of Culture of Turkmenistan, and selected Iranian artists will be held for 3 days in Ashgabat, the capital of Turkmenistan.

Mohammad Mahdi Esmaili, the Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance said regarding his trip to Turkmenistan and his participation in Iran's cultural week in this country: "Cultural relations with neighboring, friendly and Muslim countries are the priority of the government, and this year we have had regular relations with all these countries."

According to Iran Press News Agency, the Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance added: "At the invitation of the Minister of Culture of Turkmenistan, I am going to this country to participate in the Iran Cultural Week in Turkmenistan, and we hope that during this trip we will have new agreements in all fields, especially the field of culture and art."
