Iran Press/America: The Chinese mainland on Tuesday recorded nine new cases of COVID-19, two locally transmitted cases in north China's Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, and seven from overseas.
The total number of COVID-19 cases in the US has hit 13.7 million, with over 270,000 deaths. The US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention will reduce the recommended quarantine time for people who have potentially been exposed to coronavirus from 14 days to 7-10 days, said media reports.
Brazil will conduct mass coronavirus testing from December 3 in five regions of Rio de Janeiro amid a new wave of infections. The country registered 50,909 new COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours, bringing the national count to 6,386,787, the Health Ministry said Tuesday.
The first shipments of Pfizer's coronavirus vaccine will be delivered on December 15, CNN reported, citing an Operation Warp Speed document.
