Global COVID-19 caseload surpasses 192.5 million

The overall global COVID-19 caseload has topped 192.5 million, while the deaths have surged to more than 4.12 million, according to Johns Hopkins University.

Iran PressAmerica: In its latest update on Friday morning, the University's Center for Systems Science and Engineering (CSSE) revealed that the current global caseload, death toll, and the total number of vaccine doses administered stood at 192,516,387, 4,127,963, and 3,746,414,242, respectively.

The US continues to be the worst-hit country with the world's highest number of cases and deaths at 34,282,698 and 610,190, respectively, according to the CSSE.
