Iran Press/America: Referring to the disastrous situation in Palestine, which is getting worse every moment, Iran's Deputy Foreign Minister for Legal and International Affairs Kazem Gharibabadi said: "The UN Security Council has not been able to stop the killing machine of the Zionist regime because of the unconditional support of the United States to the Israeli regime."
Iran's Deputy Foreign Minister for Legal and International Affairs continued: "The United States, with its boundless aid, is involved in committing these crimes and, together with the Israeli regime, is responsible for the international violations and the lost lives."
Gharibabadi, emphasizing the provocations of the Zionists, warned: "It should be known that restraint against these provocations cannot be infinite; while the Israeli regime is trying to expand its aggression to Lebanon. This will lead the region to an irreversible escalation of tensions. Such provocations and brutalities cannot weaken the collective resolve to stop this regime."
Iran's senior diplomat calling for the restoration of the rule of law and the administration of justice, stated: "The time has come for the rule of law to be established and justice to be implemented. The United Nations Security Council must impose effective sanctions against the Israeli regime under the seventh chapter of the United Nations Charter. All countries should refrain from any aid or economic interaction with this regime to help stop the genocidal attacks."
The Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs pointing to the importance of respecting the United Nations Charter and confronting unilateral action, said: "We value the efforts of the Group of Friends in Defense of the Charter of the United Nations in maintaining the high status of the United Nations Charter. Unilateral actions, especially unilateral sanctions, attempt to violate the sovereign rights of countries and should be responded to effectively and proportionately."
Gharibabadi, emphasizing the need for greater cooperation and coordination in dealing with unilateral coercive measures, stated: "We must adopt common positions in the United Nations and support the existing proposals to deal with these actions."
