Accra (IP) - Some Ghanaian journalists condemned the Israeli strike on 10 August which targeted schools in Gaza City.

Iran Press/Africa: For several weeks, school buildings in Gaza have been targeted, with an intolerable number of civilians killed.

In an interview with the Iran press reporter in Accra, journalist Fahd Adam condemned Israel and its allies as the attacks continued on schools and camps.

“All the attacks Israel has been launching on Gaza are truly unacceptable, and this last one that resulted in martyred young students and some of the refugees is a very evil act which shows that Netanyahu is not ready for peace talk," he said.

"This attack is going to derail the ongoing peace talk, no doubt about it, and everybody in this world in his right mind, everybody that values humanity should condemn this act and they have already broken the rule of engagement," Adam added.

"In war, you don’t attack schools, you don’t attack public places, but this is the major pattern Israel has been taking such as attacking schools, hospitals, refugee camps, etc and I think this last one will not go on well for them as their own supporters are shying away from this barbaric attitude," he said.

He called on the whole world to come together and put a stop to this barbarian act of evil by Israel.

Shafatu Ango who is also a journalist and news anchor also condemned this act of violence and aggression against the people of Palestine especially the recent attacks on the schools.

She called on the international community including the UN to take action against this act of brutality and killing of innocent people in Gaza.

“The recent attack on the school is unforgivable, attacking public places during the war is very inhuman and this is against international law and the United Nations seeing all this. Feeling like a refugee in your own country, the hospitals are not safe, the schools are not safe, and refugee camps are not safe. No, this war must stop and the United Nations must take action against this evil war and Israel must be punished.”

More than 120 Palestinians were martyred after the Israeli regime’s deadly airstrike against the al-Tabeen school in Gaza.
