Tehran (IP) - The Speaker of Iran's Parliament called Operation Al-Aqsa Flood a turning point that divided the history of the Resistance movement into before and after the operation.

Iran PressIran news: Heading a top delegation, the Syrian Prime Minister just entered Sadabad Place in Tehran and was welcomed by the Iranian First Vice President on Saturday.

Receiving the Syrian Prime Minister Hussein Arnous on Saturday, Mohammad-Bagher Ghalibaf said that the result of Operation Al-Aqsa Flood was a turning point for the resistance front at the regional and international levels.

He said that the US and Europe have noticed the consolidated relations between the Iranian and Syrian nations and noted that the idea that the Americans will help the Arab countries to develop is just an illusion, which should be learned from the experiences gained.

Hossein Arnous said, for his part, that the pressures that continue to be exerted on Syria by the US and some Western countries are due to the country's return to the Arab League.

He also addressed the cooperation of the two countries in different fields, especially economic cooperation, and said that establishing a joint bank, using the currencies of Syria and Iran for commercial transactions, cooperation between the central banks of the two countries, and zeroing customs tariffs were among the agreements reached at his visit to Iran. 219
