Iran Press/ Europe: Nikol Pashinyan and Chancellor Scholz discussed issues related to the deepening humanitarian crisis in Nagorno-Karabakh, including the illegal blocking of the Lachin Corridor, the accumulation of Azerbaijani troops around Nagorno-Karabakh, and increasing tension on the Armenia-Azerbaijan state border, according to a statement from the Prime Minister's Office.
PM Pashinyan reiterated his commitment to resolving all issues through diplomacy and in a constructive atmosphere, based on agreements reached in Prague on October 6, 2022, and Brussels on May 14, 2023.
Chancellor Scholz expressed readiness to support efforts for regional peace and stability. PM Pashinyan emphasized his willingness to hold urgent discussions with the President of Azerbaijan to reduce tension.
