Tehran (IP) - The Yemeni ambassador to Iran said that Lt. General Qassem Soleimani and Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis are commanders of the Muslim Worlds' Martyrs.

Iran PressIran news: Ibrahim Mohamed al-Dailami, Yemen envoy in Tehran, in a speech on the second anniversary of the Lt. Gen Soleimani and Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis martyrdom, called these two commanders of Resistant Front as commanders of Muslim world Martyrs.

" We must research and study the lives of these two great commanders and history of their struggle and Jihad. They did their divine duty as soldiers of Islam. "

The Yemeni ambassador to Iran added: "The action of these two great martyrs is not limited to Iran and Iraq, but is important for the Islamic Ummah and is in line with the fight of Islam against global infidelity and hypocrisy."

Al-Dailami said: "The American enemy, the Zionists and the hypocrites tried to use this great incident and painful tragedy as a blow to the Resistance Front from the very first moment of the assassination. They try to intimidate Muslim Ummah by that cowardly assassination."

The Yemeni ambassador to Iran named the Islamic Republic of Iran as the main tent of Resistance and the principal forerunner of the Jihad against the American-Zionist plan and stated:

Islamic and revolutionary Iran taught all Resistance Forces that the battle for an awakening of oppressed nations is a principle and prioritized.

On January 3, 2020, Lt. Gen. Qassem Soleimani, Commander of the Quds Force of the Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC), traveled to Iraq at the official invitation of the Iraq President.

The Deputy head of the Iraqi Popular Mobilization Forces (PMU or Al-Hashd al-Shabi) who were at the Baghdad airport to welcome General Soleimani and had been leaving the airport in a civilian convoy were targetted by US Drones and martyred alongside General Soleimani.

Eight forces of PMU also martyred in the US military cowardly act.
