These days, European cities are witnessing widespread protests against the increase in the cost of living, including the increase in inflation and climate crisis and the increase in fuel prices, which has been worsened by the strikes of energy workers in France and the Ukrainian conflict with Russia. Organizers said 140,000 people attended Sunday’s rally. Police earlier predicted about 30,000 people would attend.
Also, on Tuesday, the French are going to demonstrate again to protest against the high prices and poor economic conditions.
Several French unions have announced a national day of strikes on Tuesday that is expected to affect road transport, trains, and the public sector.
The high cost of energy and the fuel crisis in France have made people face the challenge of long queues at gas stations, and they are worried about the cold winter.
