The right-wing non-governmental organization 'Foundation for Defense of Democracies' (FDD), an organization which has actively encouraged and supported US economic terrorism against Iran, is now officially registered as a lobby group in Washington.

Iran PressAmerica: The right-wing think tank, which is closely connected to the neoconservatives, has been pushing the Donald Trump administration for the toughest-ever sanctions against the Islamic Republic of Iran.

The neoconservative Foundation for Defense of Democracies is now officially registered as a lobby group in Washington.

The anti-Iran think tank is one of the main advocates of economic terrorism against Iran.

The Foundation for Defense of Democracies (FDD) is a lobby group which receives funding from various countries or groups to influence politicians and congressmen on Capitol Hill to support a particular policy.

According to documents in the House of Representatives official website, the group registered one of its subsidiaries known as "FDD Action" as a lobby group on Friday 15 November 2019, under the law which requires registration of foreign agents before they an engage in any form of lobbying on Capitol Hill.

"FDD Action" was set up in late 2018 as a subsidiary of Foundation for Defense of Democracies (FDD)  -- a neoconservative think-tank which has a long history of anti-Islamic and anti-Iran activities.
