Tehran (IP) - Iran's Foreign Minister says the general approach of the Islamic Republic is to neutralize the sanctions on the people, yet it keeps open the door of negotiations for the removal of the sanctions.

Iran PressIran News: Hossein Amir-Abdollahain said Iran is ready to realize the Iranian nation's rights and remove the sanctions based on the September document while allowing for the country's red lines.

Amir-Abdollahain made the remarks at his meeting on Tuesday with the directors of the Iranian Foreign Ministry and the international relations and politics profs in Tehran.  

He said: "We are no standing in a point of temporary agreement; what has happened is the retake of the Iranian nation's assets within two stages from the UK and South Korea."

FM Amir-Abdollahain referred to Iran's membership in the regional and international organizations and called the country's membership in the Shanghai Cooperation Organization and BRICS group a significant step that shows the Islamic Republic's place and capacities among the emerging global economic powers. 

He also touched on the Ukrainian war and stressed Iran's policy, which is the respect for the territorial integrity of all countries and opposition to any war. 

The Iranian Foreign Minister emphasized: "Until now, the Ukrainian authorities have presented no evidence about the use of Iranian weapons in this war, and what is being said is only Western media propaganda with political goals against our country."
