Tehran (IP) - The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran has strongly condemned the terrorist explosion in Bajaur, Pakistan.

Iran PressIran news: Hossein Amir-Abdollahian wrote in a tweet on Sunday evening, "I strongly condemn the terrorist act in Bajaur, Pakistan, and I offer my sincere condolences to my counterpart Bhutto Zardari, the government, the people of the country, and the families of the survivors for the loss of lives of a number of Pakistani citizens."

"The effective fight against terrorism and extremism is a common security concern of the two countries," said Amir-Abdollahian.

"Terrorism is an ominous phenomenon of our time," stated the top Iranian diplomat.
