Iran Press/ Europe: Kazem Gharibabadi said: "Iran had pursued a balanced and coordinated policy and we had been a pioneer in discovering the highest amounts of narcotics for many years."
In a meeting held on the occasion of International Day against Drug Abuse, Gharibabadi added: "The fight against drugs must be done through international cooperation, and the others should support."
ُSpeaking at a related meeting said: "Countries such as Iran have the main role in countering drug trafficking, but the target countries, especially the western countries, do not pay much attention to the issue."
