Iran Press/ Iran news: Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, in this meeting with Muhammad Sadiq Sanjrani, expressed concern over the violence in Afghanistan and stressed that "Establishing peace and security in Afghanistan is Iran's priority."
"The capacity of all countries in the region should be used to influence the inter-Afghan talks," stressed Iran's Parliament Speaker Mohammad-Bagher Ghalibaf.
Ghalibaf stressed trade cooperation between Iran and Pakistan and said that trade and economy in border areas could improve the livelihoods of the border residents.
Pakistani Senate Speaker, for his part, emphasized the support of Iran to the oppressed Muslims in all parts of the world, adding: "The government and people of Pakistan are always grateful for the support of the Iran's Leader and government to the oppressed people of Kashmir."
Mohammad Sadeghi Sanjarani said that the two countries' religious, historical, cultural, and territorial commonalities had boosted the ties between the two nations during history.
Sanjarani noted: "Pakistan welcomes any initiative that expands cooperation between Iran-Pakistan."
