The European Union Council announced in a statement on Tuesday that it added the leader of the Hamas Movement to its list of terrorists.

Iran PressEurope: The EU council stated that the decision was made as a part of its response to the October 7 Operation Al-Aqsa against the Israeli regime.

It was on October 7 that the Palestinian Resistance carried out Operation Al-Aqsa Flood on the Israeli regime's forces in response to the regime's daily crimes against the Palestinian people during 75 years of occupation of Palestine since 1948.

Based on the statement, Sinwar is banned from traveling to the EU countries and European companies and individuals are not allowed to have financial deals with him.

Confused with the irreparable intelligence and military blow it suffered from the October 7 operation, Israel is struggling to compensate for the defeat.

The EU statement came as the Israeli regime's war on Gaza left more than 24,000 people killed in the Palestinian city, of whom about 12,000 are children.  219
