Iran Press/ Iran News: In response to the reports of the ill-wisher media regarding the explosion heard from Mellat Park, Deputy Chief of Tehran Police Hamid Hadavand said: "This is the work of the counter-revolution media. Only a few leaves and branches fell on the ground due to the blast, and we had no financial damages or casualties.”
Hamid Hadavand added: “The video released in cyberspace and the reports of explosion of some buildings in the capital are not true, and these videos are not related to this incident.”
According to the police official, the cause of the incident was under investigation and the details of that would be published soon.
On Saturday morning, some media outlets reported the sound of an explosion around Mellat Park in Tehran, after which firefighters were sent to the site of the explosion.
