Zionist fighter jets once again violated Lebanese airspace

The Israeli Air Force has once again violated Lebanon's airspace showing the regime's total disregard and contempt for UN security council resolution 1701.

Iran PressMiddle East: The Israeli fighter jets on Monday morning, conducted several reconnaissance flights over the skies of the Lebanese cities of Beirut and Sidon.

Despite the violation of Lebanese skies by Israeli warplanes, the United Nations Interim Forces in Lebanon (UNIFIL) showed no reaction to this Israeli infringement and effectively ignored the Zionist aggression.

The resolution 1701 of the UNSC, approved following the end of the 33-day Israeli invasion of Lebanon in the summer of 2006, prohibited the Israeli regime from undertaking hostile actions against Lebanon, but the Israeli regime, ignoring the UNSC resolution, has violated Lebanese air, land and sea routinely, virtually every week.

Lebanon has repeatedly called on the international community to prevent the Zionist regime from violating its airspace, however such calls have fallen on deaf ears and little has been done over the years to discourage the Israeli regime from such practice. 211/207
