Tehran (IP) - Iranian Health Ministry's spokesman has said that at least 11133 COVID-19 patients have recovered and discharged from the hospitals in the country.

Iran PressIran News: Speaking in his daily news conference on Friday, March 27, the Health Ministry's spokesman Kianoush Jahanpour released the latest data on the Coronavirus infections for the past 24 hours.

According to him, more than 50 million have registered at Salamat.gov.ir to be checked thoroughly.  

Jahanpour also said to fellow Iranian citizens that they will receive a  phone call "4030" from heath ministry for Covid 19 symptoms check-up and asked them to answer the call and respond to their questions.

He also mentioned that there were 2,926 newly-confirmed cases and unfortunately, in the past 24 hours, 144 patients have died and the total number of the people who died of the Coronavirus has 32,332  people, out of whom 2,378  people died. 

2,893 patients are in severe conditions.

Begun as of Friday, the Social Distancing Project was enforced across the country with the aim of cutting the Coronavirus transmission chain with the participation of the related executive agencies, and will continue in the first phase until April 15 and will be prolonged when necessary.
