Iranian President said the country has to do everything necessary to return its economic production to normal, as the economy hit by the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

Iran Press/Iran News: Speaking on Saturday at the session of National Task Force for Fighting Coronavirus, President Hassan Rouhani said hat social distancing measures to combat the coronavirus outbreak in the country, including travel restrictions, will apply for only two to three weeks as he expects the crisis to ease by then.

"The Iranian people have been very supportive of each other despite the hardships and problems caused by outrageous sanctions," Rouhani noted.

Referring to the necessity that the authorities to meet the needs of the medical staff in the hospitals as a first priority, as well as to supply the essentials for maintaining the health of the production activists in the country, the President said, let us take a step towards a productive country because today the conspiracy of enemies is to shut down economic activities in Iran.

He added that the initial report of the Ministry of Health and the reports provided by the governors of Mazandaran and Isfahan were very promising. It is clear that all the efforts made by the medical staff, doctors, nurses and everyone in the health sector, as well as the armed forces involved in the treatment, and disinfection have had a great impact.

"We were worried that we would have a peak this time, which we haven't been to today, and hopefully, we won't have a problem in the coming days," the president highlighted."If the same trend continues, that means the path has been chosen is successful.
