Tehran (IP) - Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) unveiled Ra'ad-500 Rocket with 'Zoheir' composite engine and 'Salman' space composite engine with mobile nozzle, as the new generation of rocket propellers.

Iran PressIran news: The ceremony was attended by the Chief Commander of IRGC Major General Hossein Salami and IRGC Aerospace Force Commander Brigadier General Amirali Hajizadeh.

Ra'ad-500 rocket is the new generation of propellant with non-metal body composited of carbon fiber, undergoing 100 times of pressure and 3,000 degrees of Celsius, facilitating the achievement of very light rockets.

The rocket weighs half of Fateh-110 the body of which is steel, with 200 km in range.

IRGC's Aerospace Force also unveiled rocket engines with a mobile nozzle which along with a 'composite body' made it feasible to use solid fuel engines out of the atmosphere.

With the technology achieved, manufacturing light solid-fuel rockets, ground-to-ground missiles with low radar cross-section and the ability to cross a missile shield as well as reducing costs of production and its increase, decreasing complication in production, and finally mutating their generation were realized. 207
