Iran's Energy Minister Reza Ardakanian has emphasized the positive effects of Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) on Iran's economy.

Iran Press/Iran news: Iranian Minister of Energy Reza Ardakanian on Sunday said: "We trust and rely on good coordination between various ministries and departments and also we rely on our producers, exporters, businessmen, traders, and economic activists in order to witness a positive effect with regards to job creation within the country at this sensitive juncture."

Ardakanian expressed hope that three temporary agreements become operational soon to meet the expectations of the people and the government.

The Minister of Energy added: "I hope businessmen and economic activists seize and grab this opportunity to sell their products within the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) member states, which is a huge market consisting of 200 million people and this will soon be expanded with large countries such as India joining the Economic Union."

In further remarks, Reza Ardakanian said: "Any complacency and failure to act on our part, and lack of coordination will result in the opportunity slipping through our fingers, and foreign manufacturers and producers will take advantage of this."

"We trust and rely on our producers, exporters, businessmen, traders, and economic activists in order to witness a positive effect with regards to job creation within the country at this sensitive juncture", said the Energy Minister.

In response to another question about multilateralism, Ardakanian stressed: "Multilateralism will act against [US] sanctions, and this is good. The world can send the message that 'sanctions are wrong and they don't work', by forming regional and intra-regional economic unions and associations." 205/211/104
