Former Vice President Joe Biden

Democrat Presidential hopeful and former Vice President Joe Biden criticizing the Senate for do nothing on US President Donald Trump's impeachment and said: "Four years of this man will God-willing go down as a historical aberration."

Iran Press/America:  Former Vice President Joe Biden, the one-time front-runner in Democrat's campaign for next Presidential Election who finished a disappointing fourth in Iowa state told a crowd in New Hampshire Sunday on February 9 that "the character of the nation is on the ballot."

"The character of the nation is on the ballot. It really is, not a joke. It's who we are as a country. Four years of this man will God-willing go down as a historical aberration, but eight years will really change the nature of who we are for a long time to come. And it's not even just domestic. His embrace of thugs, dictators like Putin. He bows down to them, stands before the whole world and says, 'I believe he didn't interfere in our elections. Why would he?' Because 18 intelligence agencies told you in detail he did. We've done nothing," Joe Biden added.

The candidate who ultimately secures the Democratic nomination will face President Donald Trump, a Republican, in the November general election.

Biden, 77, insisted he has more nationwide support.

Biden also lashes out Trump's actions after impeachment trial to use the government to punish his enemies and pursue his political ends by firing out Lt. Col. Alexander Vindman who testified against Trump in Senate.

"Could you imagine taking Col. Vindman and ushering him out, physically taking him out of the White House? This guy is a hero. And he pins a medal Rush Limbaugh? What in God's name is going on?," Biden noted.

Lt. Col. Alexander Vindman, a national security council Ukraine specialist and his brother Yevgeny, a national security lawyer who was not involved in the Ukraine controversy, was sent back to the Pentagon.

According to CNN report, now that impeachment is over, there are also signs that Trump's government and allies are using their power to perpetuate the behavior — targeting Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden — that caused him to be impeached in the first place.

Trump's attempts to pressure Ukraine to investigate Hunter Biden and Joe Biden, his potential 2020 general election rival, were at the center of the President's impeachment trial. Trump and his allies have repeatedly made unfounded and false claims to allege that the Bidens acted corruptly in Ukraine.
