Tehran (IP)- Iran's Parliament Speaker stressed the need to neutralize economic sanctions by privatizing the country's economy.

Iran PressIran News: The First Event of International Privatization was held on Monday in Tehran with the presence of Mohammad-Bagher Ghalibaf, Iran's Parliament Speaker, Ehsan Khandozi, Minister of Economic Affairs, parliamentarians, and economic activists.

Attending the first international event on privatization in Iran's economy, Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf said: "If privatization leads to the democratization of the economy, we can say that we have reached the desired point." 

Ghalibaf pointed out that in the privatization and the divestitures, one should think not just about the price, sales, and receipts at the time of the process but about preserving the whole collection.

He also stressed that transparency, awareness, democratization, and belief in divine victory were the four most important factors in advancing the democratization and privatization of the economy.
