Iran Press/Iran news: Speaking at the end of a Cabinet meeting in Tehran on Wednesday, the Defence Minister Brigadier General Amir Hatami said: "Our drones have carried out their missions and they are all safely back at their bases. They have all returned to their bases."
He pointedly added: "Whoever claims that Iran has lost a drone, they should present evidence to back up their claim, as we did when we shot down an intruding US surveillance drone and displayed its wreckage to the media and the world," Iran news reported.
The Iranian Defence Minister also referred to Iran's rapid pace of advancement in defence and military field and said the Islamic Republic has been under sanctions for the past forty years yet we have always believed that we can overcome sanctions by relying on our own abilities, skills, and resources, and we can stand on our own feet.
Commenting further on Iran's impressive scientific and technological advances, the Defence Minister noted that domestic capabilities were returning in all sectors, including in car manufacturing, saying that the defense industry, as well as other industrial sectors, will advance because we feel the need, and we have the ability to move forward. 101/211/215
