Zeinab Soleimani, the daughter of martyred Iranian Lieutenant General, Qassem Soleimani, met with Secretary-General of the Lebanese Hezbollah movement, Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah, on Tuesday.

Iran Press/ Middle East: According to Lebanon's al-Manar television network, at this meeting in Beirut Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah said: "Allah the Exalted bestowed the great honour of Jihad and Martyrdom upon the prominent Iranian Lieutenant General, Haj Qassem Soleimani, ending his life in the most beautiful possible manner.

Zeinab Soleimani, the daughter of the martyred General, took part in a special ceremony honouring and commemorating her father in the "Zahieh" district of south Beirut, delivering a speech to a gathering of predominantly women. The ceremony was organised by the Hezbollah Women's Group, as well as the Cultural Association of Lebanon.

Speaking at the ceremony, Zeinab Soleimani said: "The enemies don't want to see courageous and fearless young Muslims, but they will never achieve their sinister objectives."

The prominent Iranian Lieutenant General Qassem Soleimani, who led the fight and defeated Daesh (also known as ISIS) terrorists in both Iraq and Syria, was martyred in a cowardly drone strike carried out by the US military near Baghdad International Airport in the early hours of the morning on Friday 3 January 2020.

The targeted assassination of a leading anti-terror campaigner and one of Iran's top generals was widely condemned by the international community with many countries, groups and international organisations condemning this US action.

It should also be noted that a Pentagon announcement immediately after the assassination confirmed that US President, Donald Trump had personally authorized and ordered the elimination of the top Iranian General.
