Tehran (IP) - The Iranian Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance said the International Quran Expo will be opened on the first day of the Persian New Year (March 20, 2024).

Iran PressIran news: On the sidelines of the cabinet session on Wednesday, Mohammad-Mahdi Esmaili told Iran Press that efforts would be made to run the exhibition nationwide during Ramadan month. 

Esmaili said an in-million campaign also will be run to encourage the children to memorize the Quran's short chapters, as a peripheral section of the international Quranic event.  

The culture minister also reported news about the establishment of the Animation Foundation in the country. Still, the establishment of the World City of Creative Cultural Industries is on the agenda of the Ministry of Culture as Minister Esmaili said. 219
