He added: This journalist stood by the Islamic Revolution during its difficult days and played an important role in introducing the Islamic Revolution and its leadership.
His role was so effective that Al-Safir newspaper published the news of Mohammadreza Pahlavi's departure in Persian language and large font on its front page. He was also with Imam Khomeini (RA) when he left Paris for Iran, the minister noted.
Talal Salman, journalist and founder of Lebanon's "Al-Safir" newspaper, passed away last Friday at the age of eighty-five.
