Iran Press/ Asia: Tajikistan's cities are hosting the cultural week of the Islamic Republic of Iran with the participation of tens of artists after the Iranian cities of Tehran, Tabriz, and Shiraz held Tajikistan's cultural week on October 1 to 8.
Visiting an exhibition of the Iranian artists' work in Dushanbe, Mohammad-Mehdi Esmaili highlighted the high commonalities between Iran and Tajikistan and told the reporters that initiation of cultural activities would bring the expansion cultural relations.

Esmaili considered the visit of Iran's President Ebrahim Raisi to Tajikistan as a turning point in the expansion of the two countries' cooperation and noted that pursuing cultural programs in other neighboring countries was on Iran's agenda.
The ceremony of Iran's Culture Week was inaugurated in Tajikistan on Monday. Iranian cultural week programs are being held in Bactria, Khujand, and Dushanbe in Tajikistan.
Earlier, Davlat Safar, the Deputy Minister of Culture of Tajikistan told the Iranian reporters in Dushanbe that the familiarity of the two nations with each other's common culture and language could help the expansion of the two countries ties.206
