Iran Press/Iran News: Speaking to the media on the sidelines of the 35th Tabriz Health expo, Saeed Namaki said the spread of the Delta variant is much faster than the other variants of the virus, including the UK and South African variants.
The minister stressed that the south, southeast, and east provinces are currently infected with the Delta variant, and the virus is spreading to other regions.
He also stated that the vaccination would accelerate from next week, noting that the "Iran CovBarkat," vaccine with a capacity of 3 million doses, is ready to hand over to the Ministry of Health.
