Iran Press/ Iran news: Speaking in the meeting of the National Task Force for Fighting Coronavirus, Hassan Rouhani said that almost ten provinces have good conditions and are in the phase of containment.
He further explained that the country's medical system continues to screen and diagnose the people affected by the virus and quarantine them to provide medical care.
"It is important for us to more accurately identify and diagnose patients and transfer them to their home quarantine or, in some cases, to the hospital," he stressed.
Emphasizing that the country's herd immunity is still low, Iranian President said: "COVID-19 antibodies have not reached a reassuring level, so we must raise the accuracy. It was decided to increase the monitoring."
He also announced that 185,000 medical staff are ready for monitoring and screening operations.
Holy shrines to be reopened after Eid al-Fitr
The President also said that the courtyards of the shrines will be opened with full observance of health protocols after Eid al-Fitr, and regarding the reopening of all mosques and the end of restrictions on the operation of shopping malls, reviews will be completed this week and a decision will be made at tomorrow's meeting".
Rouhani mentioned the reopening of museums and historical sites from tomorrow with observing health protocols as another resolution of the meeting of the National Task Force for Fighting Coronavirus.
