Iran Press/ Iran news: According to definitive laboratory findings from yesterday to January 16, 2021, a total number of 6,221,033 people in the country have contracted COVID-19, and 6,064,646 of the infected people recovered.
Newly diagnosed patients with COVID-19 were 2,292 cases, of whom 224 were hospitalized.
1,345 COVID-19 patients are in intensive care units (ICU).
So far, 43,410,121 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted across Iran.
So far, 60,321,108 people have received the first dose of the COVID vaccine, 53,130,215 have received the second dose, 12,521,856 have received the third dose, and the total number of vaccines injected in the country reached 125,973,179 doses.
