Iran Press/ Middle East: The war against Yemen started on March 26, 2015. This war has killed more than 47,000 people and is the biggest human disaster of the 21st century, according to the UN Secretary General.
Saudi Arabia's Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan on Wednesday called for "an end to the war in Yemen through dialogue and negotiation".
He emphasized that we must find a way to restore the ceasefire in Yemen and try to turn it into a sustainable ceasefire.
Following the consultations of the United Nations and the goodwill of Sana'a, a two-month ceasefire was established in Yemen last April 2, which ended after two periods of two-month extensions on October 2 without reaching a new agreement.
In recent days, some news media, quoting Yemeni political sources, wrote that Saudi Arabia was forced to accept the demands of Ansarallah and accepting the right of Sana'a, thus the ceasefire in Yemen is to be extended for another six months.
Last Saturday, Mohammed Abdul-Salam, the spokesman and head of the Ansarallah negotiating team, said that any solution to the war in Yemen requires to include the payment of workers' salaries from oil and gas revenues based on the 2014 budget, the reopening of airports, ports, and roads, as well as the release of all prisoners and the complete resolution of the humanitarian issue. 219
