The representative of Palestinian Islamic Jihad in Lebanon met and talked with the Iranian embassy's political Attaché on Palestinian affairs.

Iran PressMiddle East: After three days of military conflict that recently took place between the Israeli regime and the "Islamic Jihad" movement in the Gaza Strip, a ceasefire was finally reached with rockets raining down on the capital and Zionist settlements and Egypt's mediation.

According to the Palestinian Ministry of Health, this conflict led to the martyrdom of 49 Palestinians, including 17 children, and injured 360 others.

"Ehsan Ataya," the representative of the Islamic Jihad of Palestine in Lebanon, met and talked with "Karamullah Moshtaghi," the political attache of the Iranian Embassy in Palestine, in his office.

This meeting discussed developments in the Palestinian scene, especially the recent conflicts and resistance in the Gaza Strip.

During the meeting, Moshtaghi praised the performance of the Palestinian resistance in the Gaza Strip, especially Saraya Al-Quds, the military branch of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad movement in the recent Gaza war.

The representative of Islamic Jihad and Moshtaghi also emphasized the importance of the role of the Islamic Jihad movement in managing the recent battle and its competence in leading the military confrontation against the brutal aggression in Gaza.

The two sides also reviewed the latest international and regional developments and emphasized the readiness of the resistance axis and its strength to thwart enemy plans.

For over 70 years, the Israeli regime has continued its quest for domination by destroying Palestinian homes and building Zionist settlements.

According to United Nations Security Council Resolution 2334, settlement activities of the Israeli regime are illegal.
