Turkiye (IP) - The Iranian athlete sufficed to stand 5th in 110 m hurdling held in the 2021 Islamic Solidarity Games underway in Turkiye's Konya.

Iran PressAsia: Masoud Kamran, who managed to ascend the finals of the competitions, set a record of 13.74 seconds in 100 m hurdling on Wednesday and stood 5th in the Konya Games.

An athlete from Algeria won the championship title in the category. 

Meanwhile, another Iranian athlete Mohammad-Hossein Abareghi managed to stand first in 200 meters dash, setting a record of 20.72 seconds in the qualifying games and ascending to the semi-finals.
