Tehran (IP)- In a telephone call with Turkmen counterpart Serdar Berdimuhamedow, the Iranian President referred to the expanding trend in Tehran- Ashgabat relations during the previous presidency, noting: "I am confident that this trend will be accelerated in the coming period under His Excellency."

Iran PressIran news: Ebrahim Raisi, in a telephone call with Turkmen President Serdar Berdimuhamedow on Tuesday afternoon, congratulated him and the people of his country on Eid al-Fitr and said: “May lasting peace be bestowed on the government, the nation, the neighbor, and all the nations of the world.”

The President added: "With your father's measures during the previous presidency of Turkmenistan, the interactions between Tehran and Ashgabat in various fields, including gas, transit and rail cooperation, have progressed well, and I am sure this process will be accelerated in the coming period with your management."

In this telephone conversation, Serdar Berdimuhamedow, while congratulating the President and the people of Iran on Eid al-Fitr, referring to the thirtieth anniversary of the establishment of relations between the two countries, said: To accelerate the process of improving the level of bilateral interactions, and indeed the activity of the Joint Commission on Economic Cooperation will significantly help to achieve this goal.
