The Palestinian resistance movement (Hamas) condemned Israeli crimes and aggression against the Palestinians in the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque and in the cities of the West Bank.

Iran PressMiddle East: The tension between Israel and the Palestinians has flared up in the West Bank and East Jerusalem over the past three weeks as the Jewish festival of Passover overlaps with the Muslim holy month of Ramadan.

Israeli forces attacked Palestinian worshippers inside al-Aqsa Mosque in occupied East Jerusalem in a pre-dawn raid on April 15.

To date, at least 350 Palestinians have been injured and more than 450 detained in clashes (Friday, April 22nd). The clashes occurred just hours after the regime’s forces killed another Palestinian in the occupied West Bank city of Jenin.

Islamic Jihad stressed in a statement on Friday that the Palestinians will always continue their campaign activities against Israel in all fields.

The statement said that the Zionist regime continues its crimes and organized aggression against the innocent Palestinian people and that it is necessary for this nation to adhere more and more to its sacred right to defend its dignity, land, al-Quds and armed resistance.

Tariq Salmi stated: "Resistance groups, while increasing their readiness, are following the developments in the West Bank and Quds and will not remain indifferent to the crimes of the Israeli occupiers."
