Mashhad(IP): Spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Iran said that all sanctions that hinder the benefit of Iran's economy should be lifted and all chains of Iran's economy, including oil, petrochemicals, steel, construction, and the shipping mechanism should be freed.

Iran PressIran News: Saeed Khatibzadeh, the Spokesman for the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, added at the opening ceremony of the twentieth training camp of the Union of Islamic Associations of Independent University Students in Mashhad, northeastern Iran, on Saturday night said: "Whatever that has happened in under the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action(JCPOA) issue and during the Vienna talks is to the benefit of the Iranian people.

The eighth round of talks on lifting sanctions in Vienna, which began on February 8, entered a period of several breaks on Friday.

Regarding the war in Ukraine, Khatibzadeh said: "The Leader of the Islamic Revolution clarified Iran's position in the Russia-Ukraine war, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, following the statements of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, adding: The Islamic Republic of Iran opposes the war and rejects it."

Emphasizing that the war that is being waged today is rooted in decades of NATO expansion and expansionism while focusing on US{ activities},  the Iranian diplomat added: "Economic, cultural and political war started a few decades ago and today has become a military war, which is the way to solve it. He stressed that Dialogue must begin and war must end, and there must be no nuclear confrontation.

In recent months, Russia has offered security guarantees to the United States and NATO, warning of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) expansionism in Eastern Europe.

Russian President Vladimir Putin ordered an attack on Ukraine on February 24, amid repeated calls for Ukraine to join NATO and receive multimillion-dollar aid from the West.

The conflict in Ukraine continues, and today marks its 18th day.
