IP- Criticizing an Israeli official's visit to Ankara, Islamic Jihad describes the Zionist Regime as an "illegitimate child of colonialism."

Iran PressMiddle East: Israeli President Isaac Herzog arrived in Turkey on March 9 after 13 years of non-public relations between Ankara and Tel Aviv."

The Turkish people have always declared their support for the Palestinian cause, but unfortunately, the Turkish government thinks that improving relations with Washington will go through Tel Aviv, which is a great danger for Ankara.

Haitham Abu al-Ghazlan, the secretary-general of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad movement in Lebanon, told the Al-Ahd News reviving relations with the enemy under the pretext of taking advantage of it is a betrayal of Palestine.

"Despite political tensions at various times between Turkey and the Zionist regime, economic, diplomatic and security cooperation between the two was never cut off," said Kayed al-Ghul, a member of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, PFLP's political bureau.

He added that there is a contradiction in Ankara's policies, which, when associated with the Zionist regime and NATO members in hostile policies against the region's nations, believes that the gateway is close to the Arab countries, attracting their nations and influencing their feelings. It is to support the Palestinian cause, and that is what is being propagated in the media, but in practice, it is being done against it.

Youssef al-Husseini, a member of the political bureau of the Islamic Jihad, also said that Israel is an illegitimate child of Western colonialism.
