Tehran (IP)- Iran's President said that hard-working spirit dominated in different parts of the Ministry of Petroleum, adding the measures taken by the ministry could place Iran in a superior status not only in West Asia but also the world arena.

Iran PressIran news: On Wednesday, February 09, Iranian president Ebrahim Raisi underlined the capacity of oil and petrochemical industry projects in creating employment, production prosperity, and economic growth, and added: "By combining a professional and committed approach, the development of the oil industry in all dimensions will be seriously pursued."

Emphasizing that the country's oil, gas and petrochemical industry has a lot of potential for development, the President said: "By identifying and existing capacities in these areas, we can have a superior position in the region and the world."

Raisi said: "Today, 43 years after the victory of the Islamic Revolution, great steps have been taken for the progress of the country and we are determined to continue this process more quickly."

He added: "Good measures have been taken in energy, but the country has a lot of potential in this area that must be identified and activated to increase production promotion and employment."

 Daily gas transmission capacity has increased

CEO of the Iranian Gas Engineering and Development Company (IGEDC) announced that with the operation of the company's new projects, the daily gas transmission capacity of the country has increased by 10 million cubic meters.

Reza Noshadi said on Wednesday at the opening ceremony of gas supply and petrochemical projects of the Ministry of Petroleum, which was held in the presence of the President and via video conference at the inauguration of Arsanjan Gas Booster Facilities: "Arsanjan and Kheirgoo gas compressors on the eighth national trunkline and the auxiliary unit of Khormuj station on the fifth national trunkline will be inaugurated."

He continued: "With the opening of these projects, the gas transmission capacity will increase by 10 million cubic meters per day to guarantee and stabilize gas supply by the pipeline from the gas fields in the south of the country to the center and north of the country."

Noshadi added the same measure would be taken to strengthen the gas network in the west of the country and export routes in a 70-kilometer range on the Bid Boland-Ahvaz route to the country's gas transmission network.
