The Russian Foreign Minister said: "In the meeting of the Presidents of Iran and Russia, all issues of the Iran-Russia relations agenda will be discussed and examined."
He added: "Considering the change of the Iranian government last year, we must see how the policy of this country continues."
Lavrov said that Iran and Russia have many joint projects, adding that the two countries are working on these projects, and the Joint Commission for Economic Cooperation between Iran and Russia is also taking action in this regard.
He continued: "Undoubtedly, among international issues, the ones such as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action and the security of the Persian Gulf will be discussed in the meeting of the Presidents of Iran and Russia."
Iran and Russia cooperate in the UN
Stating that Iran and Russia cooperate in the United Nations, the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons, and other international organizations, Lavrov continued: "Iran is a member of our group that defends and supports international principles and the UN Charter."

Achieving real progress in JCPOA
The Russian Foreign Minister also said that the West should not create psychological tension in implementing the JCPOA, adding that real progress has been made on the issue of reviving the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action.

In this process, we are witnessing real progress and a real desire in the first place between Iran and the United States to understand each other's concerns.
He added: "These concerns are gathered in one package and it is important that they are considered in one collection." JCPOA itself is an agreement in the form of a comprehensive package.
