Bandar Abbas (IP) – IRGC chief-commander says the performance of the IRGC Navy Force in the 'Great Prophet 17' joint drills indicates a leap in defense power.

Iran PressIran news: Today, on the sidelines of the second day of the Great Prophet 17 joint drills, which is underway on the shores of the Persian Gulf and in the general area of southern Iran, Major-General Hossein Salami stated: "The culmination of the IRGC Navy's effort was the quality, effectiveness, and accuracy of the systems."

He pointed out that today the IRGC naval drones, ballistic, and cruise missiles hit the predetermined targets accurately at different distances and with various conditions.

He said accuracy in hitting targets, flexibility in different ranges, and the ability to operate simultaneously on fixed or moving targets are the salient features of this phase of the drills.

He noted that introducing new technologies, including artificial intelligence and technology for drones and missiles at various ranges with acceptable accuracy, indicates the IRGC Navy Force's achievements.
