Tehran (IP) - The Iranian President says the country is committed to what it has been obliged to fulfill based on the teachings of Islam's Prophet.

Iran Press/Iran news: Delivering a speech at the meeting of the Islamic figures with the Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei on Sunday, Ebrahim Raisi said that the US and European signatories of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) had no will to make their decision about the agreement.

Raisi said: "But we made our decision. We decided to fulfill our commitments, and we have so far remained committed to our obligations."

He pointed out that currently, the problem was with the opposite side of the agreement, who did not want to make the due decision.

"They are facing difficulty in making decision and must rescue themselves from the hassle," Raisi said.

The Islamic Republic of Iran supports negotiations that have tangible practical results, and if the US and European members of the JCPOA fulfill their full obligations, Iran will return to its obligations too.

On the occasion of the birth anniversary of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) and Imam Sadeq (AS), the sixth Shia Imam, a group of Islamic figures who participated in the 35th International Conference of Islamic Unity, met with Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei on Sunday.
