Tehran (IP): A member of the National Security and Foreign Policy Commission of Iran's parliament says that the United States seeks to compensate its losses and defeats by stealing from other countries.

Iran PressIran news: In an exclusive interview with Iran Press at Tehran's Mehrabad Airport regarding US military presence in Syria, Abbas Golroo said that the UN Charter emphasized the unity and integrity of nations and the Islamic Republic of Iran condemned any US military presence in the region.

He stressed: "The Syrian people and government do not currently legalize the presence of the Americans in region, and Iran has always emphasized the territorial integrity of Syria."

The US military has occupied a 50-mile radius of Syria, but it will fail, Abbas Golroo noted.

He added that American presence in the region for decades had not benefited nations, and now they seek to reclaim the money they lost through banditry.

The member of the national security and foreign policy commission of Iran's parliament went on to say that the Syrian people must unite, and the Americans must eventually leave Syria one day, like Afghanistan.

He concluded that with the resistance of the region's people, no place would be safe for the Americans.

Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf and his accompanying delegation returned home from Syria on Friday.
