Tehran (IP): Following registration for Iran's 13th Presidential Election, the presidential volunteer said that he was ready to form an accountable, transparent, and justice-oriented government.

Iran Press/Iran news: "We will not boycott the election, and we will use this opportunity as long as there is an election," Mahmoud Sadeghi said after registering for the 13th Presidential Election of Iran.

Regarding the possibility of resigning in favor of another candidate, Sadeghi said: "If another person from the reformist's front were to name, we would support him and move forward with the collective wisdom."

He added: "Iran is a country of endless and unique human opportunities and capacities that, if implemented in the right ways, it will be the source of security, stability and sustainable development, and the improvement of people's livelihoods."

Sadeghi pointed out that the legitimacy and efficiency of the system depend on the consent of the people and the participation of people of all races, tribes, and religions in the political, social, economic, and cultural management of the country.

Talking about the priority of his plans, Sadeghi noted: "Managing the coronavirus crisis is one of my priorities, and regarding the foreign policy, it is necessary to expand relations with neighbors."

Sadeghi stressed that negotiations could continue from a position of authority, adding that the current talks in Vienna should continue to lift sanctions with authority.

The 13th round of Iran's Presidential Election will be held on June 18, 2021.
