Tehran (IP) - The chief of staff of Iran's president called the Vienna talks positive and satisfactory despite the difficulties and hardships.

Iran Press/Iran News: Mahmoud Vaezi called the Vienna talks positive and satisfactory despite the difficulties and hardships and said: "The talks are going through fateful days, and despite some difficulties, it is positive in its atmosphere, and if the process continues in the same way, we will see progress in Vienna."

According to the chief of staff of Iran's president, the efforts of the government and the Iranian negotiating team are based on the framework drawn up by the Iranian senior officials and the fulfillment of the conditions and set by the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei. "In this way, we try to revive the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) and lift the sanctions in the talks, observing all the considerations."

Vaezi also referred to the regional trips of the Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif and added: "The Islamic Republic of Iran considers the development of relations with its neighbors a strategic goal and welcomes dialogue and cooperation with neighbors."

Iran ready to strengthen relations with Saudi Arabia

Regarding Iran-Saudi Arabia relations, Vaezi stressed that Iran is ready to strengthen cooperation and interaction with Saudi Arabia, saying: "Strengthening relations between the two countries is undoubtedly to the region's benefit and can be effective in overcoming many unnecessary tensions and challenges."
