Tehran (IP) - Iran's Minister of Energy says a great change has begun in Iran's water tourism and more projects will be inaugurated in the future.

Iran PressIran News: "The Ministry of Energy has pledged to put 50 working projects and 200 construction projects into operation, and with 35 working projects unveiled, a total of 53 construction projects have been put into operation so far," Reza Ardakanian said at a webinar on the unveiling of 35 projects of Iran's utility industry, which was held on Sunday morning.

The minister said: "Construction projects such as production and distribution of water and electricity and wastewater treatment and reuse, have been put into operation, which is critical for the public welfare."

Reza Ardakanian added: "With the cooperation of the Ministry of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts of Iran, a mechanism was developed so that in addition to quantitative and qualitative control and environmental considerations, Iranians can benefit from the newly constructed lakes."
