Tehran (IP) - Iran's Minister of Agriculture Jihad says one of the coronavirus vaccine features is the interruption of the transmission chain through the inhaled vaccine.

Iran Press/Iran News: At the beginning of the clinical trial phase of the Razi COV-Pars vaccine, explaining the features of this vaccine, Kazem Khavazi added that the vaccine's injection volume was limited, and people should be sure that the vaccine was made through the best methods.

The Minister of Agriculture Jihad stated that another feature of the vaccine was that it did not interfere with any of the vaccines injected into the human body.

He highlighted that in this method, the vaccine could be re-produced against the coronavirus if it mutated.

Explaining the process of making the coronavirus vaccine, Kazem Khavazi said that after going through various testing stages, the vaccine was tested on animals. Then the research file was sent to the Ministry of Health for approval.

The human trials phase of the Iran's second homegrown COVID-19 vaccine named 'Razi COV-Pars,' based on a recombinant protein that can be injected or inhaled, started on Sunday with the injection to volunteers.
