Moscow (IP) - Iran's Ambassador to Russia considered the trip of the Iranian parliament speaker to Moscow as the high position of Russia in Iran's foreign policy and relations and stressed that the ties subjected to no external factor.

Iran Press/Europe: The Speaker of Iran's Islamic Consultative Assembly Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf left Tehran to Moscow on Sunday on the formal invitation of Russia's Duma Chairman Vyacheslav Volodin.

Iran's Ambassador to Russia, Kazem Jalali, wrote in a Sunday tweet that Ghalibaf's first foreign trip to Russia shows the Russian Federation's high position in Iran's foreign relations and foreign policy. 

The relations are not subject to any external factors and are on the path of strategic development according to the neighborhood's needs, regional and international requirements, he stressed.

He reminded that the Duma chairman's inviting the speaker of Iran's parliament to trip to Moscow would turn a new page of political, economic, cultural, and security relations between the two countries in the bilateral, regional, and international spheres.

Also, to conveying the message of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution to the Russian Government, Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf will meet with his counterparts in the Duma and the Senate, as well as the Russian economic, trade, political, and security officials over bilateral, global, and regional issues, expressing hope that the consultations lead to deepening the strategic ties between the two countries.

Holding different meetings over economic relations between the two countries is the main part of Ghalibaf's trip to Russia. 

Still, the Iranian parliament speaker is scheduled to deliver speeches before the Russian think tanks thinkers.
